What is a teglia?
The Roman way to eat pizza
A teglia is the rectangular baking tray used in Rome's pizza bakeries. We bake our dough in it, top it well and cut it to order, so you can try a few flavours at once.

Baked in the tray
Our dough is baked in the teglia until it's crisp on the bottom and light inside. Ask for yours well done if you like it with some char.

Ready in seconds
Pizzas are baked through the day, so your slice is ready when you walk in. Grab one on your lunch break or pick up a whole tray for later.

Small, cosy, and a couple of minutes from Crosshill
Look out for the dark shopfront on Cathcart Road. Inside there's a small room with a few seats if you want to eat in, and a counter full of pizza if you're taking it home.
Try the Negombo Pizza, where Sri Lankan and Italian flavours meet, or order every slice on the counter and turn it into a tasting menu.

Definitely the best pizza slice shop Glasgow has ever been blessed with 🖤 Worth the half an hour round trip and will definitely be coming back often! ‘BAKED’ in the East end were also great before they relocated but this spot is arguably just as good if not better. Let’s keep them thriving!

Best Roman style pizza in Glasgow. Baked Pizza Al Taglio - esque. Quite tight inside but it's quick food so you won't be long anyway. The round pizzas are surprisingly good even though the slices are their bread and butter. Don't skip the desserts either!

Fantastic pizza, I live round the corner/work from home full-time and this is my favorite payday lunch treat place. Usually get the salami pizza but tried the potato last time and it was lovely.

These are fabulous! We bought all the slices as a pizza tasting menu and there are no weak links. The toppings are generous and high quality but not to the detriment of the crispy base. The tomato sauce is on point - not too sharp nor too sweet. Also the people are really nice which is always a big plus. A real friendly team.

This is by far the best pizza in Glasgow! I absolutely loved the special courgette and sesame with mint which was a unique and delicious combination. The vodka sauce pizza was also incredible simple yet full of flavor.
